Since it’s easy to get swept up in the hype over who’s headlining what day of Coachella—and the last three lines of each section are impossible to see without a telescope—we thought we’d zero in on 12 of the acts deemed too insignificant to announce in anything above a 6-point font. They include some of the underground’s top DJs (Dixon, Nina Kraviz), the guy responsible for “The Percolator” (Cajmere, a.k.a. Green Velvet), two genre-defying ‘dance’ acts (Darkside, Factory Floor), one of Daft Punk’s closest friends (DJ Falcon), live bands loosely associated with indie rock (Dum Dum Girls, Future Islands, The Dismemberment Plan), and at least one group that’ll get away with showing up in costumes and masks (GOAT). Oh, and Fishbone; we can’t forget Fishbone.
