In case you plan on attending any of this summer’s remaining East River Park shows, know this: the main bandshell is not along the water in Brooklyn, ala JellyNYC’s Pool Party series. It’s at least a 15-minute walk from the closest subway stop (the F train at Delancey and Essex). Which is all right with us; self-titled‘s typical work day involves sitting in front of a computer for 12 hours at a time, so we appreciated the exercise and yet another one of Man Man‘s splendid summer carnival sets. While this one wasn’t as ridiculously packed as their Pool Party appearance a few years back, it did reel in a number of the band’s hardcore fans, most of which appear to be under the age of 16.
