Cloud Nothings have finally confirmed the release date and rundown of their new album, Here and Nowhere Else. Due out April 1st through Carpark/Mom + Pop, the record was recently performed in full at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. We caught the set and can safely say that most of the full-length follows suit with the lead single below, tightening Dylan Baldi’s once-tortured hooks with a power-trio (including bassist TJ Duke and drummer Jayson Gerycz) lineup that’s more concerned with nailing small details than piling on the piss and vinegar like the band’s last LP, Attack on Memory.
“It’s more subtle,” Baldi explains in a press release. “It’s not just an in-your-face rock record. There’s more going on. You can listen to a song 20 times and still hear different little things in there that you didn’t notice before. Every time I listen I notice something that I didn’t even realize we did.”
