In the weeks since Old Apparatus member A. Levitas announced his new label (Overshare Records) and audiovisual side project (Penny) with multi-disciplinary artist Michael Crowe, the pair shared a video that was dipped in the same acid vat as Levitas’ downcast productions and passed along the following premiere to unveil today. With a title that’s time-stamped like the Penny EP’s last official leak, “Pen#3’’ makes its point through the music itself, a winding road of robust melodies, steady pitch-shifts and chromatic minor chords.
