Lee Gamble has revealed his next two PAN records. Due out in August and September respectively, the producer’s Kuang EP and KOCH LP are described as “self-contained other worlds” in the latest issue of Wire, which is streaming the narcotic ambient notes of “Untitled Reversion” here.
As suggested in a self-titled story about his interest in the “mind-fuckery of the sciences,” Gamble’s new material appears to be academic and affecting in equal measure. Or as he puts it in Wire, “I like the idea of having a track that’s banging at Fabric, but actually breaks down in the smallest denomination of sound you can have at the end.”
