Words + Mix ALEX PERU
These are some of the songs I play each morning to wake me up. I call it The Toothbrush Mix, but it works equally well with mouthwash or dental floss. The Jason Derulo song is probably my favorite song of 2014; it’s had a big influence on Vision Fortune’s production style recently. The Cat Stevens song is my favorite from Mona Bone Jakob, my favorite Cat Stevens album. I also like that Richard Dawson song, but I’m confused about the bag—it must be massive to fit all that stuff in it. The only song I’m unsure about is Karen Gwyer’s “Lentil,” which contains absolutely zero lyrical content about edible pulses, but other than that it’s all good.
