My oh my did we need the following GYMSHORTS video on this dreary Monday afternoon. Taken from the Rhode Island band's ripping Knock Knock record—which dropped on Wallflower and Burger a couple months back—"Go Fish" is the sort of thing we'd expect from Adult Swim or the dearly departed Super Deluxe, a welcome blast of WTF-ness in the dark ages we now live in.
"We took 'Go Fish' literally," explains director Andrew Benedict, "and made a table of freaks playing the card game. We also embraced the fishiness of Rhode Island—where a bunch of us are from—and made the band nautical, on an under-the-sea stage. I know a lot of sketch comedians with closets of weird props so I just got them together and we had a lil' fishy freak party."
