Squarepusher has announced a new EP in the spirit of his more contemplative material — tracks like the film score favs “Tommib” (Lost In Translation) and “Tommib Help Bus” (Marie Antoinette). Due out April 10th through the producer’s longtime label Warp, Lamental builds on the breakbeat-heavy momentum of last month’s Be Up a Hello LP by pairing the previously shared “Detroit People Mover” with a spry alternate take (“The Paris Track”), two versions of the reactionary EU referendum anthem “MIDI Sans Frontières,” and the digital exclusive “Les Mains Dansent.”
Check out our favorite cut from Lamental below, along with Squarepusher’s upcoming tour dates and a handful of Be Up a Hello clips….
