Anyone curious as to who Joanne Robertson is after hearing her guest appearances on Dean Blunt’s new album will find out soon enough, as Blunt and his Hype Williams compatriot Inga Copeland get set to release one of Robertson’s smoky folk records on their new World Music imprint. No word yet on whether it’s a single, EP or the proper follow-up to the singer’s 2007 album (The Lighter) yet, but the newly leaked “Heat” certainly maintains the dimly lit moodiness of her past work.
