And from out of nowhere with little fanfare, New Zealand indie rockers Cut Off Your Hands releases a new single off its forthcoming album Hollow. “You Should Do Better” doesn’t have an official release date, nor does the sophomore release it’s plucked from (Wikipedia says “TBA – 2011”), but the band itself claims that the follow up to 2008’s charming debut You & I will be available “soon.”
Sadly, Cut Off Your Hands’ stateside label French Kiss Records has little additional news of a release on its site either, so in the meantime, enjoy the closest thing we’ll get to a Smiths reunion below…
