Remember Kemado Records? Yep, us neither. That’s because Mexican Summer–and to a lesser extent, the Ford & Lopatin-curated Software Label–has gradually eclipsed its sister label in its sheer volume of releases, records that celebrate artists outside of the psych-rock/’hipster-metal’ corner Kemado painted itself into. (Why, just this week Kemado put out a Pink Floyd-y LP called Center of the Sun.)
