Having recently fallen under the spell of Föllakzoid’s latest groove-locked LP (I, now available on Sacred Bones), we thought we’d ask the Chilean duo to share a playlist of their favorite trance-inducing tracks. Guitarist/singer Domingæ Garcia-Huidobro sent back a spellbinding set that includes everything from the experimental techno of Efdemin to the ambient side of the iconic composer/pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto. Which makes perfect sense; the group had Atom™ do post-op production work on three rigorous months of rigorous I sessions, resulting in a widescreen record that alludes to Krautrock and ambient-techno in equal measure.
