While we had no idea they were even working on a new record, ISIS has put the finishing touches on Wavering Radiant, their first full-length since 2006’s In the Absence of Truth. Due out May 5 through Ipecac (a limited vinyl pressing is also set for April 21), the disc features the production of Joe Baressi (Queens of the Stone Age, Tool) and a pair of appearances by Tool guitarist Adam Jones. Tool’s bassist, Justin Chancellor, provided some low-end action on ISIS’ “Altered Course” oddesey way back in 2004.
