Kate Bush has added another week of tour dates to her “Before the Dawn” residency at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. Set to go on sale this Friday at 9:30 a.m. GMT, the 22-show run is her first round of live appearances since 1979, when the reclusive singer decided to retire from the road for undisclosed reasons.
“I thought we were going to go around the world,” guitarist Brian Bath said in a lengthy Guardian story a couple years ago. “It just fizzled into doing bits and bobs for TV and songs for a new album. It was such a shame. The Americans would have loved it.”
While that may be true, Bush’s reported fear of flying may keep her return grounded, as well received as it may be. Find out how you can score tickets to her overseas dates below, right alongside Bush’s classic “Running Up the Hill” video…
“Tickets will go on sale at 9.30 am (GMT) on the 28th March 2014 and will be available exclusively from the following agents:
www.eventim.co.uk
www.gigsandtours.com
www.ticketmaster.co.uk
Please note that tickets are not available directly from the venue Box Office. Additional order enquiries should be directed to the Eventim customer service department at:
customerservice@eventim.co.uk or 08443760021
Ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of 4 per order. For example, you can try to purchase up to 4 tickets for just one of the 15 concerts, or 1 ticket for 4 separate shows.
The name of the lead booker will be printed on the first ticket. As the number of tickets is limited they will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Tickets cannot be resold or transferred under any circumstances. If the promoter reasonably believes this to be the case the barcode on the ticket will be voided, prohibiting entry to the concert.
For access requirements, please call 0208 563 3800 and choose option 2. Alternatively you can email info@eventimapollo.com for more information. The line opens at 10am and closes at 5pm and operates Monday to Friday. Please note that no other query can be dealt with on this number.
We hope to see you there.”
