As she announced quietly on Twitter last Friday, Keep Shelley in Athens singer Sarah P. has decided to depart the duo to “focus on new things.” Or as she wrote in her “annual review” entry last month, “After a year full of surprises, I find myself now with eyes wide open. Be prepared for everything. It is an adventure. Enjoy every single second. Change what you can change. But you never know what is coming up; be able to adjust.”
Judging by the fact that she finished acting school two years ago and hasn’t had the chance to pursue it outside of appearing in a short Greek film last year, we’re guessing that’s one of the new things that’s going to get some much-needed attention in the months ahead. Meanwhile, producer RPR has shared one final song with Sarah—an optimistic number called “Old Time Glory”—and promised to soldier on with a new singer and some guest vocalists on a new album later this year.
