Four Tet has shared a surprise benefit single for the Steve Reid Foundation. Hitting shops momentarily via a handmade 12” pressing and the producer’s Text imprint, “Strings of Life” is a mad-for-it Derrick May cover that was cut live to tape in the wake of Kieran Hebden’s myriad Domino sessions with the dearly-missed jazz drummer. (He passed away from throat cancer in 2010.)
