As Kurt Vile gets ready to play some of his biggest stateside shows yet, Philadelphia’s favorite guitar slinger has revealed the inevitable expanded ‘reissue’ of his latest record, Wakin on a Pretty Daze. Available on November 19th through Matador, it includes new artwork from the legendary street artist ESPO and a bonus EP called It’s a Big World Out There (And I Am Scared). The latter will also be available as a 12” if you already own the album.
If that’s not enough for hot Vile action for you, he also uploaded the coveted KV mixtape that landed in the hands of close friends earlier this year “for the purpose of loose/good vibes.”
“I don’t wanna say all this stuff influenced my record in any obvious way,” Vile wrote on his Web site, “but subliminally? Most def. Cuz that’s life—always influenced by your surroundings.”
Check it out below, along with tour dates, album art and more…
