After a couple years of cutting records under other aliases—The Caretaker and The Stranger—Leyland Kirby has announced the first record under his own name since 2011’s Intrigue & Stuff series. Due out February 17th through Apollo Records, Breaks My Heart Each Time is described as four “subtle personal reflections upon his roots in rave and acid house in the UK.” Which makes sense considering Apollo’s own beginnings as a home for seminal early releases by Aphex Twin, Biosphere and more.
