Never content with making simple techno music as Monolake, Robert Henke explores his more experimental side with Eternal Darkness, a “site specific sound installation for a large water reservoir, turned into a huge pipe instrument, where visitors can sonically and physically experiencing massive low frequency excitations of the room. The low drones are contrasted with occasional higher pipe organ-like pitches that seem to have no physical origin, bouncing off the walls in endless echos.”
