Neurot Recordings has revealed its second volume of Townes Van Zandt covers, a co-release with My Proud Mountain Records. Due out sometime next year, the effort skips a few generations from the last record, which starred Neurosis’ two singers (Steve Von Till and Scott Kelly) and stoner-metal icon Scott “Wino” Weinrich. This one’s rooted more in today’s underground scene, including contributions from Mike Sheidt (YOB, VHÖL), Nate Hall (U.S. Christmas), John Baizley (Baroness), Katie Jones, Stevie Floyd (Dark Castle, Taurus) and Dorthia Cottrell (Windhand).
