Moogfest has confirmed its first round of acts for next spring’s five-day takeover of Asheville, North Carolina. Set to happen from April 23rd to the 27th, the event will feature nighttime performances from Wolf Eyes, Le1f, Daedelus, the Gaslamp Killer and many more, rounded out by headlining appearances from CHIC, Giorgio Moroder, Laurie Anderson and Kraftwerk, who’ll translate their recent MoMA residency—and upcoming L.A. run—across three 3-D concerts.
Additional details are expected in the coming weeks, including another round of confirmations from more than 70 other artists; showcases from leading experimental/electronic curators like DFA, Warp, Ghostly and RVNG Intl.; and a daytime schedule of “mind-expanding conversation, experimentation, and collaboration for creative and technology professionals across seven venues in downtown Asheville.”
