Since Dent May is about to kick off a European tour behind last summer’s Warm Blanket LP, we thought we’d run the mixtape he passed our way last month: a feel-good affair simply titled “Always For Pleasure.” Here’s what he had to say about it…
‘Always For Pleasure’ is a mix named after the New Orleans film by Les Blank, although I don’t think any New Orleans artists are represented here. I apologize to anyone who doesn’t think that’s right. I’m aware that New Orleans is the greatest city, and Les Blank is a hero, may he rest in peace. The phrase ‘always for pleasure’ has become a bit of a mantra. I hope you have a nice time while listening to these songs.
