The Artist/Album: Felt, Absolute Classics (Cherry Red, 1992)
Our Review: “Masterpieces” might be a stretch, although most of this compilation ranks highly in the cult classic department. Either way, this record is a revelatory introduction to the rain-slicked remnants of a band that’ll appeal to anyone who likes the idea of Lou Reed fronting a ramshackle composite of the Cure.
