Our Review: Don’t worry; self-titled hasn’t forgotten about that whole separation-of-church-and-state thing. This compilation–culled from a rare cassette box set–is actually yet another post-Prurient alias of Dominick Fernow. And it’s even gnarlier than Vatican Shadow, sounding like a set of Nine Inch Nails instrumentals that were left out in the rain to rust. Creepy and fan-fucking-tastic if you miss Fernow’s noisier side, yet welcome his newfound love of bleak ambient beats.
