More, Alexis Georgopoulos’ “song-based record for people who don’t listen to song-based records anymore,” gets the remix treatment on November 5th, when Smalltown Supersound presents a new ARP EP featuring Peaking Lights, Gavin Russom and a couple new names from Spectrum Spools (No UFOs) and Smalltown Supersound (Masks). The track above is taken from a New York Times premiere, wherein the producer/multi-instrumentalist said Peaking Lights’ brightly lit edit “reminds me of Japanese mall pop like Yellow Magic Orchestra, or a New Order dub mix.”
