So we were looking at what’s coming through New York this fall the other day and were surprised to see Phantogram are headlining the cavernous, 3,000-capacity venue Terminal 5 on December 4th. Not surprised because the duo doesn’t deserve it; surprised because we figured they were more of a mid-sized act. But then again, Phantogram’s long-awaited second album appears to be a co-release between Universal Republic and Barsuk, and both the Flaming Lips and Big Boi have tapped Phantogram for their recent albums.
So maybe this is the beginning of something big…
