Terrible Records managed to rein in three of Spain’s more adventurous dance acts for an Empress Of EP today, with El Guincho, Delorean and John Talabot’s BFF Pional all turning in very different versions of the singer’s “Tristeza” single. Our personal favorite: El Guincho’s choppy pairing of clipped vocals and scuffed crate-digger cuts. What happened to that dude anyway? Maybe his first album in four years is on the way soon?
