While it’s not quite the album we were hoping for, we’ll happily take another 12” from Tropic of Cancer–one that picks right up where last year’s The Sorrow of Two Blooms left off, peppering Camella Lobo’s spectral transmissions with moonlit drum machines, sinewy synths and cold-blooded chords. Bleak but beautiful yet again, in other words.
