Steve Moore and A.E. Paterra—Zombi‘s co-founders, and the purveyors of such proven side projects as Majeure, Gianni Rossi and Lovelock—have launched a new cassette label called VCO Recordings. According to a press release that was slipped under self-titled‘s door this morning, “VCO presents electronic-based music that snatches imagination from the jaws of obsolescence—capturing it lovingly on the highest-quality “dead-media†for the discriminating listener who might remember the ritual and process behind the joy of listening—and for those newcomers who are willing to learn.”
