So we know we say this every issue, but we really ran ourselves ragged this time. Sick of seeing an endless procession of EDM think pieces over the past couple years, we set out to explore as many corners of the underground electronic music scene as possible. That goes for everything from our chart-topping cover subjects Disclosure to such fringe favorites as Andy Stott, Lee Gamble and the folks who run Night Slugs and L.I.E.S. None of which are nerding out too much, unless you count think pieces about rally car racing, Marc Maron, cycling, YouTube, Polish food, and the “mind-fuckery of the sciences.”
