James Blake has revealed more details about his second album. Due out April 9th through Republic, Overgrown features 10 new tracks, including a couple profile-raising collaborations with Brian Eno (“Digital Lion”) and RZA (“Take a Fall for Me”). Here’s how his label describes it:
As a whole, Overgrown stands marked by the artist’s staunch adherence to progression. The stylistic elements that enchanted fans and critics the first time around serve as building blocks for a more dynamic and diverse listening experience. Moments of darkness fade into genuine bliss as he bends the foundations of post-dubstep, pop, hip hop, and house to his whim.
