The lead single from Magik Markers’ latest LP begins with a wild-eyed Elisa Ambrogio wailing like a banshee against a bloodthirsty chorus of “Bon-fire! Bon-fire! Bon-fire!” Which sets the scene perfectly; much like the gnarlier moments on their last two LPs (Balf Quarry and our personal favorite, Boss), “Bonfire” takes the prolific trio down a punk rock path, a clear-as-day directive to kick ass and take names.
