Popol Vuh‘s essential string of Werner Herzog soundtracks (Heart of Glass, Aguirre, Nosferatu, Fitzcarraldo and Cobra Verde) are getting dropped in a limited box set later this month. Available January 25 through SPV, the 5,000-strong pressing includes a 98-page hardback book of rare photos and liner notes and a long box that reminds us of buying Pearl Jam’s Ten album at a Media Play in the early ’90s.
Pre-order a copy here, or read up on Florian Fricke and friends at SPV’s official site. CFCF also discussed Herzog’s films on our daily site a few months back.
