The first of three planned Cold Cave singles set to drop in the coming months before their next proper album, “Oceans With No End” b/w “People Are Poison” brings the band’s sole constant member (Wesley Eisold) back into the Deathwish fold for a limited 7”. That doesn’t mean he’s returning to the screechy, rage-against-the-machine vibes of his post-hardcore projects Some Girls and Give Up the Ghost, though. While the A-side sounds like the last Cold Cave LP on a lower budget (in a good way), the flip is Goth-y in a way that’ll make you tease your hair and get your old Sisters of Mercy records out.
