It’s easy to forget amid the flurry of Andy Stott and Demdike Stare-related records Modern Love typically puts out, but the label actually releases other artists occasionally. Case in point: Liam Morley and Dan Valentine of Rainer Veil, who’ll be releasing their second EP through the label on March 18th. (Or now if you’re in the UK.) True to its architecture-referencing title, New Brutalism is dance music that’s doused in dry ice and built on a bed of cold, hard concrete. Token Modern Love fare, then, making their membership to an otherwise exclusive club abundantly clear.
