Anyone psyched about Refused’s sudden reunion this past spring has something else to look forward to later in the year: the live return of the VSS, who announced the news via freshly activated Facebook/Twitter accounts earlier today. In case you’re unfamiliar–and most people are; the Boulder, Colorado band imploded two years into their existence–the VSS were full of explosive nervous energy and synth parts that snapped, crackled and popped like downed power lines. Sure enough, their one and only album is called Nervous Circuits, a cult favorite that was rescued from the realm of obscurity by an expanded Hydra Head reissue in 2008. (According to the band, a vinyl reissue is also due out through Sargent House later this year.)
