Thom Yorke has revealed the details surrounding his Suspiria film score. Due out October 26th through XL Recordings and available for pre-order in a limited pink pressing here, the double LP features 25 original compositions, ranging from chilly interludes to Krautrock-y instrumentals inspired by the movie’s setting in late ’70s Berlin. Not to mention a handful of more traditional solo tracks like “Unmade,” “Has Ended,” and the lead single “Suspirium.” Check out its animated video below, along with a complete rundown of the record, the official Suspiria trailer, and the dates/details for Yorke’s upcoming tour with recurring collaborators Nigel Godrich and Tarik Barri.
As for the film itself, its world premiere received a standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend, but critics are pretty divided on what’s essentially an all-bets-are-off remix of giallo demigod Dario Argento….
