Good news kids—thanks to a new partnership with their old friends Mute Records, you can finally learn about the legacy of Throbbing Gristle. The outré icons finally landed on streaming services today, signaling the beginning of a three-year rollout plan that includes reissues of “long out of print and important pieces of work” and “some new box sets of previous unreleased material and imagery.”
Details are still TBD, but Mute did confirm the fall release of Chris Carter’s first solo album in 18 years. His longtime partner in life and love, Cosey Fanni Tutti, is also unveiling her memoir (Art Sex Music) through Faber on April 6th, and the pair’s longtime nemesis (Throbbing Gristle singer Genesis Breyer P-Orridge) is performing a live score to Derek Jarman’s In The Shadow Of The Sun at Café Oto in London this May.
