Outside of that comment and a few nervous fist bumps, the pair gets down to business though, candidly discussing everything from Tyler’s myriad influences (James Pants, Pharrell Williams, Roy Ayers, Wes Anderson, his mother) to why he wants to stop rapping and focus on songwriting and other areas of art instead (“I hate rapping, only because it puts you in this box”).
