Performing a previously unreleased song is great and all, but what you really want to see in the La Blogotheque session above is Real Estate revisiting their Manic Panic days with a spot-on cover of the Weezer classic “Say It Ain’t So.” (According to Pitchfork, it’s at around the 17-minute mark.)
Nice timing too, considering the fact that Ric Ocasek just got back together with the group for the first time since their Green Album to produce the following LP, Everything Will Be Alright in the End…
