Ambient/deep-house producer Will Long has announced the sequel to his critically acclaimed Long Trax LP. Due out March 16th through Smalltown Supersound, Long Trax 2 is described as “an ongoing criticism of cultural stasis, conveyed via minimal synthesizers, sampler, and rhythm machine.” Case in point: the opening track “Nothing’s Changed,” which melds lush not-quite-dance loops with the inherent wisdom of a young Barack Obama.
