Considering we’re longtime fans of Xeno & Oaklander and Ghostly International, we’re happy to report that they’ve joined forces for the Brooklyn duo’s first album since their longtime home (Wierd Records) essentially folded. That won’t be out until 2014, so we’ve got two things to pass along for now: “Par Avion,” a digital single that dropped today, and a new line of limited products set to launch at New York’s Tess Giberson shop tomorrow.
“Sound makes me think of a scent,” she explains, “which makes me think of an image, which makes me think of a certain kind of light.” Which is her way of saying that we can expect not only Xeno & Oaklander clothing, but a perfume, scented bookmark, collages and more. We’re into it.
