Not content with sharing a simple stream of their new Melt LP, Young Magic have paired an extensive track-by-track commentary with a Web zine that fully captures what went into every last globetrotting groove. You can check Drift out here, and stream Melt below, right alongside a downloadable version of the trio’s limited Maps mixtape, which they describe as “a collection of Young Magic rarities, remixes, demos, field recordings, flips, beats, b-sides from Melt and whatever else we made over the last year that didn’t fit the LP. It’s a home for all the other sounds we’ve been making…a rough beat tape of sketches cut together in a moment. Think of it as our sonic scrapbook.”
